Colloquium Series

General / visitor seminars within the department/school/college can be found here:
College of Engineering and Computer Science seminars page

Aim:

  •  To educate, facilitate interest and discussion between Researchers within the Department and the Institute.
To this end, (presentable) work in progress or interesting observations as well as completed work is encouraged.

  •  It is preferred that the talks have a plenary feel, they will be advertised widely (outside Info Eng/RSISE) and will set the standard for student presentations.  The content should be accessible to the breadth of Information Engineering: control, optimization, computer vision, robotics etc. (let me know if I forgot you).

  • Please aim for presentation lengths of 30-40 minutes so that a healthy amount of time is left for questions, discussion and biscuits.
